Introduction to Welding
Discover the thrill of working with metal. Through discussion, demonstration and hands-on application, you will learn the fundamentals of oxy/acetylene and MIG welding, plasma arc and torch cutting, heat bending, the peripheral metalworking tools and we will discuss safety throughout.

Mold Making and Resin Casting
Resin is an amazing versatile durable material that is available in a multitude of different types and can be pigmented to look like anything from wood to metal to candy. It can be useful in any number of disciplines from sculpture to printmaking or anywhere you want a slick surface or a 3-dimensional part…It’s easier than you think…and it’s FUN!
In this intensive one day workshop students will learn basic rubber mold making as well as some non-traditional mold making techniques. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with various resins and pigments and make a piece (or several pieces) of their own.
All materials will be provided.
